The rules of the road.
Please read these terms carefully. By using eraseAI, you confirm that you have the right to process the files you upload.

1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the eraseAI website and watermark removal service (the "Service"), operated at eraseai.app. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
eraseAI provides a free, no-sign-up tool that uses AI to remove watermarks from images and PDF files. The Service supports common image formats (JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF) and PDF documents, with a per-file size limit of 50MB.
The Service is provided "as is" and results may vary depending on the complexity of the watermark, the underlying image, and the file format. We do not guarantee that every watermark can be fully removed or that the output will meet your specific requirements.
3. Your responsibility for uploaded content
You may only upload content that you own or have explicit permission to modify.
By uploading a file to eraseAI, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to process it;
- Removing the watermark from the content does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right, including copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws;
- The content does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise harmful material; and
- You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for the results produced by processing it.
eraseAI is a tool. We do not screen uploaded files and we are not in a position to determine whether you have the right to remove a particular watermark. The decision to upload and process a file is yours, and so is the responsibility for that decision.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use eraseAI to:
- Remove watermarks from copyrighted material that you do not own or have rights to;
- Remove credits, attributions, or identifying marks from another person's work in a way that misrepresents the origin of the work;
- Process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or that infringes the rights of any third party;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable personal use; or
- Resell, repackage, or redistribute access to the Service as a paid product without our written permission.
We may restrict or block access for any user who, in our reasonable judgment, violates these terms or abuses the Service.
5. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the content you upload. Processing a file through eraseAI does not transfer any ownership of the content to us, and we do not claim any rights to the files you process.
The eraseAI name, logo, website design, source code, and AI model integrations are owned by eraseAI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the watermark removal results will be accurate or reliable.
You are responsible for reviewing the output before using it for any purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall eraseAI, its operators, or its service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Because the Service is provided free of charge, the aggregate liability of eraseAI for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eraseAI, its operators, and its service providers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including any claim that the content you uploaded infringes the rights of a third party.
9. Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. We may also impose usage limits or change supported file formats, file sizes, or processing models. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and eraseAI agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you should stop using the Service.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us through the contact information published on the site. See also our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle files and data.
