Privacy Policy

Your files are yours.

eraseAI is built to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we process, what we keep, and what we never do.

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. The short version

  • You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use eraseAI.
  • Files you upload are transferred over HTTPS and processed temporarily.
  • Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.
  • We do not use your uploaded files to train AI models.

2. Information we collect

Because eraseAI does not require an account, we collect very little personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details.

When you use the site, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp, and approximate geographic region derived from IP. This data is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics, and is not associated with the files you upload.

3. How your files are handled

When you upload an image or PDF for watermark removal, the file is transmitted over HTTPS to our processing infrastructure. The file is processed by our AI model, the result is returned to your browser, and the original and processed files are then deleted from our temporary storage.

We do not retain uploaded files beyond the time needed to complete processing and deliver the result. We do not view, review, or share the contents of files you upload, and we do not use uploaded files to train our models.

Temporary processing artifacts (such as intermediate image buffers) are stored only in memory or in short-lived temporary storage and are deleted automatically.

4. Cookies and local storage

eraseAI does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use first-party local storage to remember UI preferences (such as the AI model you last selected) and to pass the file you uploaded between pages within a single session. This data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to us.

If we add analytics in the future, it will be privacy-respecting, aggregate-only, and will not be used to identify you individually.

5. Third-party services

eraseAI relies on the following third-party providers to deliver the service:

  • Cloudflare - used for content delivery, edge networking, and temporary file storage (R2). Cloudflare processes network traffic and may log technical data per its own privacy policy.
  • AI model provider(s) - the watermark removal model is run via an API that receives the file payload for processing. Files are sent to the provider only for the purpose of removing the watermark and are not retained by the provider beyond their own processing window.

We do not share your files with any other third parties, and we never sell your data.

6. Children's privacy

eraseAI is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your rights

Because we do not require an account and do not retain your files or personal information, there is generally no personal data about you for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have any questions about data we may hold (such as infrastructure logs), you may contact us at the address below.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA respectively. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

8. Security

All file transfers use HTTPS encryption. Access to our processing infrastructure is restricted and audited. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes that affect how your data is handled, we will note them prominently on the site.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please reach out. For legal notices, see the contact information in our Terms of Service.
